ABOUT THE GLVMA
The Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association® (GLVMA) is an officially registered 501c3 non-profit community based organization created to produce music related events throughout the greater Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. The GLVMA is a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. The GLVMA is in partnership with ArtsQuest® , located on the SteelStacks® campus in Bethlehem, Pa. Our flagship events include the Lehigh Valley Music Awards® (LVMA), the Lehigh Valley Music Hall of Fame℠ (LVMHF) and the Lehigh Valley Beatles Showcase℠ (LVBS).
The GLVMA® is designed to create and to work in conjunction with local community based music and benefit events in the greater Lehigh Valley region. The GLVMA acknowledges the amazing and incredible musical talent and music related industries of the greater Lehigh Valley. The thousands of hours of diverse entertainment provided to the community each year by local musicians is extraordinary. The music industry of the Lehigh Valley never fails to step up when the community is in need. The LVMA® and LVMHF℠ are intended to honor and celebrate the local music industry for all of their efforts. The GLVMA strongly supports youth based local community music schools and organizations to help keep our music scene alive.
The Lehigh Valley, known officially by the United States Census Bureau as the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton-Phillipsburg, PA-NJ metropolitan area and referred to locally as The Valley and A-B-E, is a metropolitan region consisting of Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon and some parts of Berks counties in eastern Pennsylvania and Warren county on the western edge of New Jersey in the United States.
The Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association® (GLVMA) is an officially registered name and organization with the state of Pennsylvania. Any use or claims, willful or otherwise, of the GLVMA name, GLVMA related organizations or the reproduction and/or distribution of the content of GLVMA events, in part or in full, in any form including but not limited to logos, printed, visual and audio materials etc. by any organization, group or individuals without prior written authorization constitutes copyright and trademark infringement and all participating parties to the infringement will be prosecuted in civil court to the full extent of the law.
